What is ExtMatrix?
ExtMatrix is a one-click online file hosting service that provides people with an easy, secure way to store files.
Can I search the ExtMatrix servers for files I'd like to download?
No! We protect the privacy of all users.
Only the person who uploaded a file to ExtMatrix can access it.
Do you delete inactive files?
Yes, after 30 days of inactivity.
Files uploaded as a premium user will never be deleted.
My download is too slow. What can I do?
Try our Inline download. Powered by our own acceleration technology, it downloads over multiple connections at once and is usually much faster.
Premium members will find the Inline download button on the file page, right below Download now.
Can I use a download manager such as IDM or FDM?
Yes. If your download manager does not catch the download automatically, right-click the Download now button and choose to download it with your download manager, or copy the link address and paste it into the download manager.
You can also hold Ctrl (⌘ on Mac) and click Download now; the download starts in a new tab, where your download manager can catch it.
Can anyone see my IP address?
No. ExtMatrix handles all that for you by using our servers and networks, not yours. Using our system completely separates your devices from the outside network, and keeps your device sterile, private, and safe.
There is no need to use a VPN to hide your IP address from the web since you are never directly connected to it when transferring files with ExtMatrix.
Can anyone see what I am downloading?
No. ExtMatrix encrypts all your connections so neither your ISP nor anyone in the middle can see what you download to your cloud.
Is adult material allowed to be stored or shared?
No. ExtMatrix prohibits any type of adult material; we will permanently ban adult content from our platform.
Can I access my files using WebDAV?
Yes! ExtMatrix supports WebDAV access, which allows you to mount your cloud storage as a network drive on your computer.
Get your WebDAV password from your account settings page, then connect to https://davtest.extmatrix.com with your ExtMatrix username and your WebDAV password.
You can also use the shorter address https://dav.tma.cx, which is easier to type on a TV or VR headset.
This makes it easy to access your files directly from your file explorer, without needing to use the web interface.
